Jewish settlers temporarily took over some buildings in the West Bank town of Hebron. The move, which spokesmen for the settlers described as a protest against the Israeli army’s failure to protect them from attacks by Palestinians, came just two days after clashes erupted in Hebron’s Jewish enclave after two pipe bombs were thrown at a kindergarten.
