Foreign ministers from six Arab states in the Persian Gulf criticized Israel’s plan to expand the borders of Jerusalem. In a statement, the Gulf Cooperation Council said the plan, which would expand Jerusalem’s municipal authority over eight West Bank settlements, violated international law and aimed to expand settlements on Palestinian land.
