The Conference of President of Major American Jewish Organizations joined the growing chorus of Jewish groups criticizing the Palestinian Authority’s support of Holocaust denial. In a letter to Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat and the U.S. Middle East peace process team, the umbrella group of 55 Jewish organizations strongly protested the “continuing series” of statements and publications from official Palestinian Authority sources that “denigrate and deny the tragedy of the Holocaust.”
