A private lawsuit for $135 million against Italian insurance giant Assicurazioni Generali will go forward, despite an agreement by the firm to settle a separate class-action suit on Holocaust-era claims. Attorneys for the Stern family, which filed the private suit, said they will pursue their action in a Los Angeles court on a “fast track.”
