The Netherlands soon plans to make good on a pledge to contribute some $10 million to an international fund for Holocaust victims, the World Jewish Congress said last Friday. The $60 million humanitarian fund was created in December 1997 with the last of the Nazi gold still held by the Allied powers. Moneys from the fund have provided medical and other aid for needy Holocaust victims in the former Soviet Union.
