The Jerusalem office of the Simon Wiesenthal Center called on Britain to enact a law that would enable a suspected Nazi war criminal to be stripped of his citizenship and deported to Lithuania to stand trial. Last year, the center charged that Antanas Gecas had served in a police battalion that participated in the murder of thousands of Lithuanian Jews.
