The owners of a Taiwanese restaurant that had decorated its walls with pictures of Nazi death camps removed the images, saying they did not realize they might offend some customers. The proprietors of The Jail restaurant, which wanted to give diners the feeling they are eating in a prison, took the action one day after reports surfaced that the eatery’s Jewish and German patrons considered the decor offensive.
