A student at Brooklyn College has published a book to help imprisoned Jews maintain their religious practices. “Even though convicted criminals owe a debt to society, this does not necessarily mean that they must sacrifice their religious faith,” said Yitzhak Zelmanovitch, author of “Jews in Prison: A Primer on Jewish Religious Practices.”
