The Israel Defense Force recommended that Israel cancel an arrest warrant for the head of the Palestinian police, Gen. Ghazi Jabali, for his alleged involvement in sending three Palestinian police officers to try to carry out a terrorist attack against a Jewish settlement. The Israeli daily Ha’aretz quoted senior IDF sources as saying anyone who works with the Palestinians is aware of the need to renew contact with Jabali.
