American concerns about Israeli arms sales to China will have no effect on Beijing’s relations with Israel, according to a Chinese Foreign Ministry official. Israel and China “have developed a relationship of friendship and cooperation” that “will not be affected by external factors,” the spokesman said about U.S. opposition to Israel’s outfitting Chinese cargo planes with advanced radar systems.
