A Lithuanian court reopened the Nazi-era war crimes trial of a former U.S. resident and is expected to rule in the coming days on whether the 92-year-old is mentally fit to stand trial. Kazys Gimzauskas, who was deputy head of the Vilnius regional security police during the Nazi occupation of Lithuania, is accused of assisting Nazi death squads in killing at least five Jews.
