A leading U.S. Jewish group called on the U.S. Congress to ratify an international law protecting the rights of women. The call by Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, to pass the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women came last week as a U.N. conference on women was meeting in New York.
