Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak can make peace with the Palestinians despite his political woes, U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said. “He is not going to make an agreement that jeopardizes his people,” Albright told The Associated Press after three right-leaning political parties resigned from Barak’s government.
