There will be no breakthrough in the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks unless Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat adopts an “open and realistic” stance, according to Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak. His office issued the statement after Barak held a 45-minute meeting in New York with U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
