Brazilian police defused a letter bomb sent to a gay rights group in Sao Paolo as part of what is being seen as a neo-Nazi terror campaign. Earlier in the week, a similar package was sent to a human rights campaigner. Both parcels had a scrawled red image of a swastika and bore the same return address, the city’s Israelite Foundation. Local officials said the return address was a clear hoax.
