The Armenian government will sell the state diamond-cutting works to an Israeli company owned by a Soviet-born Jewish tycoon, according to sources. Lev Levayev, who owns Levayev Diamond, is the main sponsor of the Federation of Jewish Communities, a Lubavitch-dominated Jewish umbrella group in the former Soviet Union.
