An Israeli observation satellite was launched Tuesday aboard a Russian rocket from Russia’s Far East. The Eros-Al satellite will be able to take pictures of objects as small as 6 feet, according to Russian and Israeli sources. The satellite will circle the earth once every 100 minutes.
