In an apparent effort to shame a husband into changing his mind, a British rabbi publicly named a man who refused to grant his wife a religious divorce. In what is believed to be the first action of its kind in Britain, Rabbi Pini Dunner named the man in an ad in the London Jewish Chronicle.
