An Israeli reserve soldier was killed during a firefight with Palestinian gunmen near an Israeli army outpost in the West Bank. Staff Sgt. Ya’acov Krenchel, 23, was seriously wounded in the gunfight and evacuated under fire. He later died of his injuries.
