President Bush telephoned Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to “discuss ways of securing peace” in the Middle East, White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said. The White House also announced that Israeli President Moshe Katsav will visit Washington on May 30 for talks with Bush.
