Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon criticized former Cabinet minister Yossi Beilin for urging the United States to invite Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat to the White House. Sharon criticized an unnamed “former Cabinet minister,” widely assumed to be the dovish Beilin, for “having turned into a lobbyist for the Palestinian Authority.”
