Israel’s top diplomatic post remains unfilled more than a month after former Ambassador David Ivry left Washington. Media reports recently mentioned two possible candidates: Sallai Meridor, the chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel, and Avi Pazner, currently the world chairman of Keren Hayesod and a former ambassador to Italy and France.
