A U.S. envoy was due in Israel on Monday for talks aimed at keeping Israeli-Palestinian violence to a minimum as the United States prepares for a possible attack on Iraq. The U.S.-sponsored “road map” for Middle East peace will be on David Satterfield’s agenda, but it won’t be the main item, Israeli officials told the Jerusalem Post.
