Paul Wolfowitz told a Jewish group that U.S. military action in Iraq will have positive effects throughout the Middle East. “We may well hope that with the demise of a truly evil and despotic regime in Iraq, we will see the liberation of one of the most talented peoples in the Arab world,” the deputy secretary of defense told the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs on Monday.
