Israel’s interior minister reportedly is trying to bring 17,000 Ethiopian immigrants to Israel before the Jan. 28 elections. Israel’s attorney general expressed reservations about the mass immigration campaign so close to the elections, but Eli Yishai denied that his move is connected to the Jan. 28 vote, Israel Radio reported.
