Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) is recovering from surgery after suffering a head injury while skiing. Lautenberg, who was re-elected to the Senate this year after retiring in 2000, checked himself into Weil-Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital on Saturday, and doctors found that blood was collecting in his skull.
