The umbrella organization for secular Jewish institutions in France said it wants to maintain contact with France’s Green Party. In a statement Sunday, the organization, known by the acronym CRIF, said it “wishes to maintain a constant dialogue with all the democratic political parties, including the Greens.” The night before, Roger Cukierman, CRIF’s president, warned that anti-Semitism is becoming politically correct among left-wing French intellectuals, including the Greens.
