A group of Muslim clerics affiliated with Hamas and Islamic Jihad issued a fatwa against any Arab ruler supporting a U.S. war against Iraq. The ruling declares that any Arab leader who condones an American strike on Iraq “violates Muslim law and will pay a heavy price,” according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz.
