Leaders in Europe and other lands need to strongly combat anti-Semitism, President Bush said. “Europe’s leaders — and all leaders — should strongly oppose anti-Semitism, which poisons public debates over the future of the Middle East,” Bush said in a speech Wednesday to British defense and foreign-policy experts, just days after suicide bombers killed 24 people in attacks on two Istanbul synagogues.
