Sen. Sam Brownback introduced a resolution to make recognition of a Palestinian state conditional on moving the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. The Kansas Republican would require the embassy move to take place at least three months before any recognition of a Palestinian state, and would declare Jerusalem the undivided capital of Israel.
