Spanish officials told Jewish leaders they want the issue of Israel’s security fence resolved by diplomacy, not courts. Spanish Foreign Minister Ana Palacio told a delegation from B’nai B’rith International that Spain would work within the European Union to achieve a consensus to resolve the dispute over the fence in coming weeks without going to the International Court of Justice at The Hague.
