Rome will host a series of events in 2004 to promote understanding of World War II, the Holocaust and Jewish history. Called “Rome 1944-2004: memory, resistance, and liberation,” the program to promote memory, awareness and understanding was outlined by Mayor Walter Veltroni.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
