Italy soon will have a government committee to investigate and fight anti-Semitism and racism. Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi announced the move this week, saying there was “profound concern about the rise of episodes of intolerance and anti-Semitism in Europe.”
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
