A Greek museum withdrew a painting from a London exhibition, afraid it will become the subject of restitution claims. The heirs of Hungarian Jewish art collector Ferenc Hatvany sought to claim El Greco’s “Mt. Sinai” when it was on display at the Metropolitan Museum in New York last month, but failed.
