Egypt’s foreign minister said his country’s peace with Israel is alive but flawed. “The peace between Israel and Egypt is not dead. It has a few illnesses and viruses, but it is still alive and manifests mutual desire to see regional peace,” Ahmed Maher told Israeli reporters accompanying Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom to Cairo on Thursday.
