The Palestinians want to negotiate for their statehood in the West Bank and Gaza Strip within a year. “If the United States wants to help end this conflict, it should bring the Israeli and Palestinian sides to the negotiating table within six months to a year to start final-status negotiations,” Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei told Reuters on Wednesday.
