Texas Gov. Rick Perry apologized to the Jewish community for inviting a messianic rabbi to speak at an official function. Perry expressed regret to Jewish leaders on June 29 for having David Stone, a self-proclaimed messianic rabbi, give the benediction at a June 5 bill-signing ceremony, the Texas Jewish Post reported.
