Agustin Zbar became the first national Argentine representative to be sworn in on a Torah. Zbar took the oath Thursday for a seat in the House of Deputies. Although a number of other Jews has served as national legislators and governors, all took the oath of office utilizing the Book of Evangelical Saints.
