Jewish educators must change to meet the American Jewish community’s emphasis on lifelong learning, experts said. Those were the messages conveyed to more than 1,100 rabbis, teachers, administrators and communal workers in Jewish education this week at the 30th annual Conference on Alternatives in Jewish Education, continuing through Thursday at the University of Washington in Seattle.
