The parents of the late pro-Palestinian activist Rachel Corrie narrowly escaped kidnapping in the Gaza Strip. Craig and Cindy Corrie were visiting the southern Gaza town of Rafah on Wednesday when Palestinian gunmen arrived, intent on abducting them. But the Corries, whose daughter was accidentally run over and killed by an Israeli bulldozer as it tried to uncover gunrunner tunnels in Rafah in 2003, were spared thanks to the intervention of a Palestinian Authority policeman.
