Condoleezza Rice called on Palestinian factions to stop their internecine violence. The U.S. secretary of state made the comments Tuesday, shortly after arriving in the region on a tour aiming to revive the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. On Wednesday, Rice is slated to travel to Israel, where she will meet with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and other top officials.
