Philip Roth wins literary award

Philip Roth won the PEN/Faulkner Award. The American Jewish novelist was recognized for “Everyman.” It marked the third time he has received the $15,000 prize, following “Operation Shylock” in 1994 and “The Human Stain” in 2001.
