Lilith editor named 21st century leader

Women’s eNews named Lilith Magazine editor Susan Schneider one of its 21 Leaders for the 21st Century. Schneider co-founded Lilith in 1976 as a Jewish feminist women’s magazine focusing on issues from reproductive rights to women’s financial independence to breast cancer. She has also written three books, “Jewish and Female,” “Intermarriage: The Challenge of Living with Differences between Jews and Christians, and Head and Heart” and “A Woman’s Guide to Financial Independence.” Schneider and the other Women’s eNews leaders were honored at a gala at New York’s Tavern on the Green Tuesday night.
