More than 40 American educators, most of them not Jewish, are spending a study week at Yad Vashem.
The seminar, being held at Israelâ€™s Holocaust memorial in conjunction with the Anti-Defamation League and the Shoah Foundation Institute of the University of Southern California, aims to enhance and supplement educatorsâ€™ knowledge of the Holocaust and how to teach it.
â€œAs misinformation about the Holocaust and anti-Semitism is spread through the Internet, it is vitally important that teachers have the tools to provide accurate information in the classroom and beyond,â€ said Avner Shalev, Yad Vashemâ€™s chairman.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
