Condoleezza Rice designated as terrorist a radical Islamist Palestinian group.
In an announcement Monday, the State Department said the secretary of state had placed Fatah al-Islam on the Specially Designated Global Terrorist list, blocking all its U.S. assets.
Fatah al-Islam is believed to be behind attacks on the Lebanese military launched earlier this year in the Nahr al-Barid refugee camp in Lebanon.
