Israeli troops killed three Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Israeli commandos raided Kafr Dan village near Jenin in the West Bank on Friday, killing an Islamic Jihad gunman in an exchange of fire. Palestinians said a teenaged bystander also died from Israeli fire.
Troops patroling the Gaza boundary on Saturday spotted a Palestinian trying to cross the security fence, a frequent target for terrorist attacks. The Palestinian was shot dead. He was not known to have any terrorist affiliation, and may have been trying to enter Israel to seek work.
