An American Jewish Committee co-sponsored workshop will provide advocacy training to Mexican-American leaders.
More than 20 leaders will attend the workshop this weekend co-sponsored by AJCommittee’s Latino and Latin American Institute, the Institute of Americans Living Abroad and Mexico’s Washington D.C. consulate.
The leaders will hear from, among others, Jewish lawmakers, advocates and congressional staffers about the successful U.S. Jewish model for public advocacy.
According to an AJCommittee statement, “Mexico is of special interest as a key partner of the United States and its strong and thriving local Jewish community.”
