Jews in the Ukrainian city of Dnepropetrovsk held a memorial ceremony for local Holocaust victims.

Monday’s ceremony near the Monument to Holocaust victims recalled the more than 11,000 Dnepropetrovsk Jews who were murdered by the Nazis during World War II.

Participants lit candles, laid flowers on the monument and had a minute of silence.
