The Israeli army will soon launch a large-scale operation in Gaza, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said.
Barak’s threat comes on the heels of Israel’s reduction of fuel supplies to Gaza this week.
At a hearing late Monday, Attorney General Menachem Mazuz declared that Israel could sever economic and commercial ties with Gaza, which the Knesset has declared a hostile territory. He would not, however, sanction cutting off electricity to the territory.
