B’nai B’rith helps Mexican flood victims

B’nai B’rith International is raising money to help victims of flooding in the Mexican state of Tabasco.

About 1 million people were left homeless after the Grijalva River overran its banks earlier this week in flooding of low-lying areas near the Gulf of Mexico.

B’nai B’rith’s Disaster Relief Fund is designed to help people in need regardless of religion. The organization will partner with local relief agencies to provide help where it’s most needed.

Donations can be made to: B’nai B’rith International Disaster Relief Fund, 2020 K Street, NW, 7th Floor, Washington, D.C., 20006, or online www.bnaibrith.org/DisasterRelief.
